11岁的林雨彤将代表马来西亚远赴意大利参加国际英语奥林匹克比赛总决赛（International English Olympiad），力求为国争光！
就读SR Seri Presbyterian私立小学五年级的林雨彤，是柔佛州唯一一位脱颖而出代表大马出国参赛的选手。她将在9月28日至30日和其他8名代表选手代表马来西亚到意大利罗马参加上述比赛。
她在接受The Star采访时，分享学习英文的心路历程，并表示非常期待和来自世界各地的小小选手们会面，交流学习心得。

她从小就喜欢阅读《Harry Potter》和《Percy Jackson》系列小说，所以英文很好。
“除了阅读小说，我也很喜欢看观看英文电视节目，The Big Bang Theory是我最喜欢的节目之一。我会观察演员们在剧中说话的方式，这也让我不羞于用英文和同学老师交谈。”
曾在去年2021年参与过同一场赛事的她，但遗憾止步于半决赛，是父母的鼓励让她在今年2022年顺利突围，非常荣幸能够代表马来西亚站在国际赛事的舞台上。
