根据《东方日报》报导，美国加州发生森林大火，20多个地方大规模野火持续延烧。
据美国加州森林防火厅表示，自8月15日以来，加州全境遭到大约1.2万次雷电袭击，引发了多场森林大火，火烧面积达91.5万英亩。

加州州长已经宣布全州进入紧急状态，包括较小的火灾在内，消防员正在和560场野火抗争。

目前野火已经烧毁近700栋建筑、超过11.5万人撤离家园、6人死亡及43人受伤。
据说已有近14,000名消防员部署到灭火救灾行动中，但是最大的几处野火火势还是难以控制，加州政府也已经向其他州请求支援。

另外，加州森林防火厅也说，近期还会有更多的闪电袭击，提醒逗留在当地的居民保持警觉，准备好随时撤离危险之地。
